Dave Ramsell
Owner / Creative Director
Dave Ramsell received formal training in graphic design from The University of Akron, but his love of art began when he was just a boy. At the age of ten, he began taking a bus each Saturday morning to the Canton Art Institute in downtown Canton, Ohio. While taking drawing, painting, and sculpture classes, young Dave Ramsell explored not only the world of art, but also his own creativity. As a GlenOak High School student, Dave chose to study a two-year drafting design program. This program was Dave’s first opportunity to express his creative nature within a precise discipline like drafting.
As a young man, Dave explored several career paths including management and sales, but neither of these paths satisfied his yearning to create. Dave chose to return to The University of Akron and study graphic design. Here he found a field that allowed him to combine his creativity and precise attention to detail with his business experience.
When asked what he likes best about graphic design, Dave replied, “Watching images and words merge into a design that conveys the company’s brand and helps the company to grow and to succeed.”
